Felt making is an ancient craft. Some of the earliest known fabrics were made of felt- to protect humanity from the harsh elements.

The technique has been refined over the centuries and can now be shaped into decorative forms. In this workshop we will cover the basics of wet-felting to create a beautiful piece of original artwork.

Attending one of my workshops is not just about the process of making a piece of felt- although that is the essence. There will also be time to pause and to think about your place in the world and the unfolding climate crises, and how you want to make a contribution. The act of creating is an important component in the situation we all find ourselves in, and is a vital element in us dreaming up a new reality together.
